Fudge. It was not a good idea to switch on the TV as soon as I got up. Cuz the news was just full of blows. My dad's 401K was in the Lehman corp. I don't know what's going to go down with that. I hope everything's all good with everyone.
Also, there's some sort of food pantry sponsorship on the radio. Apparently more than 1/9 people in Rockford live below the poverty line (according to the DJ, that's a higher rate than the city of Chicago). Sigh, poor Rock-town. We all just need some cheering up.
I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and my issues and just stick it out. For now. Taking the last week into consideration, there's a lot to be thankful for.
